Italian CE market grows in first quarter

Over the first three months of 2018, 2,713 machines have been sold in the Italian market, recording a growth of 30 per cent compared to the same period last year. The number of earthmoving machines sold stood 2,623, while road equipment 93.

Italian CE market grows

Over the first six months of 2017, as many as 5,109 machines have been sold in the Italian market, up by 6 per cent compared to last year. The sector of earth moving machines grew by six per cent with 4,910 machines sold, while road equipment increases by nine per cent (199 machines sold).

US CE exports still down at midyear

Exports of the US-made construction equipment (CE) were down 24 per cent overall at midyear 2016 compared to the first half of 2015 with a total $5.65 billion shipped to global markets.

US CE exports drop in 2014

According to American Equipment Distributors Association, citing US Department of Commerce data, exports of the US made construction equipment ended 2014 with a 13.2 per cent drop compared to 2013, with a total $17.26 billion shipped to global markets.

For India, the risks and rewards are great
